NOTICE OF UPCOMING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY/LANE CLOSURE & TRAFFIC SHIFT

On Monday, February 10, 2025, the outer, northbound travel lane of S. MacDill Avenue will be closed between W. Palmira Avenue and W. San Carlos Street to accommodate construction activities at W. San Jose Street. A traffic shift will be in place to route travelers around the work zone.

Work will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Motorists should remain mindful of construction crews, vehicles/equipment and traffic patterns when traveling in and near the work area. (See map for work

Construction schedules and activities are subject to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION

  • Delivery and storage of construction equipmentand materials within the public right of way
  • Operation of construction vehicles and heavyequipment in and near the construction area
  • Removal of landscape and hardscape items within the public right of way, as needed
  • Temporary elimination of street parking within the construction area
  • No anticipated interruptions to trash/recycling or mail service delivery
